You'll work alongside experienced consultants on real client projects, from the first conversation with a prospective client to the handover of a finished system. It's a hands-on role and a practical way to learn how small businesses actually run.

Day to day, you'll

  • Help find and approach new clients: researching local businesses, preparing for introductory calls, and following up
  • Join client meetings, take clear notes and capture actions
  • Map how work flows through a client's business: who does what, with which tools, and where it stalls
  • Lay out systems and processes: draw workflow diagrams, design spreadsheet and form structures, and document how a new setup should work
  • Draft proposals, short reports and plain-language how-to guides
  • Help set up and test tools, and support clients' staff while they learn them
  • Keep project notes, files and client records tidy and up to date

Who we're looking for

You'll do well here if you

  • Write and speak clearly, and are comfortable talking to business owners
  • Like working out how things fit together, and spotting what's wasted or repeated
  • Are organised and follow through without being chased
  • Are comfortable with spreadsheets and learning new software
  • Handle client information discreetly

Helpful, but not required

  • A degree or diploma in business, commerce, information systems or a related field
  • Some experience in sales, administration, customer service or a small business
  • Afrikaans as well as English
  • A valid driver's licence, for client visits

What you'll get

  • Practical experience across many kinds of business, quickly
  • Training in process mapping, consulting and client work
  • Work that's specific, visible and useful to the people you help

Town or suburb is enough.

Studies, work and anything else relevant, in a few lines.
